Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Ex two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's biggest financial successes, regularly earning massive earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
